I hope you all had a good Christmas; I can’t believe the day is over already, it all seemed to happen so fast!  Now I know that today lots of people will be heading out of the house and hitting the shops but for me there’s nothing better than spending Boxing Day on the sofa eating turkey sandwiches and browsing the online sales for some bargains – that way I don’t have to get changed out of my PJs!

When I’m shopping in the sales there will always be those impulse buys that I don’t really need, however, I do try and stick to classic staple items or hunt out the pieces that will carry me into the next season and can be worn with a new twist! Following these tips, here are a few of my top picks from the Yours sale.

This beautiful lace kimono (Was £25.00 Now £12.00) is perfect for layering all year round and can be worn for so many different occasions. Dress it up by wearing over an LBD with heels for a night out, come the spring time you can wear it with a plain top and skinny jeans for dinner with friends, and in the summer it will look great over a vest and denim shorts for a festival – it’s even perfect for the beach, throw it on over your swimwear for glamorous cover-up!

Harems are a great versatile piece for your wardrobe, easy to dress up or down, and this colourful floral pair (Was £22.00 Now £11.00) will carry over nicely into spring. When the weather does start to get a bit warmer they can be worn with pumps and a slouchy fine knit, and if you are heading away for some winter sun these would work perfectly with sandals and a vest.

I ALWAYS buy a pair of boots in the winter sale, this is my own golden rule. Whatever the style, they are always such a good investment and thankfully Yours have such a wide range on offer that there is something for everyone. These sleek patent Chelsea boots are a favourite of mine as they are a great alternative to wellies in the wetter weather keeping you stylish and dry! They come in a classic black (Was £35.00 Now £23.00) and also a bold oxblood red (Was £35.00 Now £17.00) if you want to make more of a statement.

Finally, any kind of underwear is always good to pick up in the sale; it’s something you always need all year round, and on a day to day basis it doesn’t really matter what the colour is so long as it’s a great fit! This comfortableblack non-wired bra (Was £16.00 Now £8.00) is a steal at just £8.00, the pretty floral lace and cute pink bows give it a pretty girly look.
